Debating the sabotage acts of the tourism area in Socotra Archipelago.

The Executive Director of the Tourism Promotion Board has discussed today with the Governor of the Socotra Archipelago Hashem Saad Al-Soqtari about the exploits of the sabotage and destruction that affected the tourism infrastructure in Socotra.
The meeting, in the attendance of leaders and representatives of departments concerned with media, marketing, and monitoring of the loss and violations against the tourism sector, pointed out the role of the Tourism Promotion Board in revealing the crimes of aggression against the Socotra Archipelago and the damages that the Saudi-Emirati occupation has inflicted on the tourism environment and the coral reefs in the archipelago.
During the meeting, the Governor of Socotra elevated the role of the Tourism Promotion Board in unveiling the crimes of Saudi-Emirati aggression and occupation in the archipelago ... emphasizing the importance of benefiting from the expertise and crew of the Council in exposing the crimes and infringements of the aggression, with regard to the tourism sector and the damage caused to the ecological and natural system in the archipelago, and ways to assemble support towards stopping it.
He commended the role of the people of Socotra in facing the actions of aggression and occupation and its instruments, and their encounter with all forms of tampering and methodical destruction of the island's unique tourism product as one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world registered on the UNESCO list.
Governor Al-Soqtari has indicated that what the archipelago is currently witnessing is an exchange of positions between the Saudi and Emirati occupiers to immortalize the occupation status in the archipelago.
He accentuated that the unfavorable and destructive actions of this unique environment aims to remove it from the World Heritage List and cause the disagreements between the people of the province, in a way that harnesses the archipelago's capabilities to serve the interests of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Concerning his part, the Executive Director of the Council briefed the Council’s plans and programs to the Governor of Socotra, related to exposing the crimes of offensive and occupation and the damage caused to the tourism sector in various Yemeni governorates, especially the Socotra archipelago.
Al-Mansour has stressed on the council's support to the efforts of the governorate leadership and its activities in monitoring and documenting crimes of aggression and occupation in various sectors, including the tourism sector in the archipelago.
He has also reviewed the most leading points of the Council's plan to confront and oppose the Saudi-Emirati aggression and occupation and their rebellious efforts to destroy vegetation cover without taking into account the consciousness of its position as a global destination for fans of ecological and natural tourism.
